RBI Grade 'B' 2019 Exam Eligibility Criteria 

Candidate to should be fulfilled the following Eligibility Criteria to appear in the RBI Grade B Exam:

RBI Grade 'B' 2019 Exam Eligibility based on Nationality:

  • Must be a citizen of India

  • Must be a subjected of Bhutan

  • Must be a subjected to Nepal

  • Candidates must be a Tibetan Refugee, came to India before 1st January 1962 and setting permanently in India.

  • A person who is Indian origin migrated from Srilanka, Pakistan, Burma, East African Countries of Kenya, Zambia, Uganda, Ethiopia, Malawi, United Republic of Tanzania and Vietnam with the intention of permanently setting in India.


RBI Grade 'B' 2019 Exam Eligibility based on Age Limit:

  • Age Limit:

    • Candidates should be minimum 21 years old.

    • Candidates should not be more than 30 years of age.

    • Candidates who are possessing M.Phil. and PhD qualification, the upper age limit for them will between 32 and 34 years respectively

  • Age Relaxation: Age Relaxation of 3 years for OBC candidate and 5 years for SC ST candidates. Get a clearer picture from the following table:

A candidate who has experience in the Commercial Bank or Financial Institution in Public Sector and also in Reserve Bank of India. For him/her, the upper age limit should not exceed 33 years.

Note: 

  • Age relaxation should be applicable as per the government rules. So. the candidates are advised to wait until official notification, to get a brief information.

  • No. of Attempts:

    • 8 for General category candidates (counted who appears in Phase - 1 exam)

    • Unlimited (with limitation to age limit) for all other category applicants.

Minimum 60% marks (50% in case of SC/ST/PWD) in Bachelor's Degree

Minimum 60% marks ((50% in case of SC/ST/PWD) in Class 12th as well as class 10th

 Officers in Grade 'B' (DR) -DEPR

 

 

A Master's Degree in Economics/ Econometrics/ Quantitative Economics / Mathematical Economics/ Integrated Economics Course/ Finance

 

Minimum of 55% marks or an equivalent grade in aggregate of all semesters /years from a recognised Indian or Foreign University /Institute

50% for SC,ST

 

 

 Officers in Grade 'B' (DR) - DSIM

 

A Master's Degree in Statistics/ Mathematical Statistics/Mathematical Economics/ Econometrics/ Statistics & Informatics from IIT-Kharagpur/ Applied Statistics & Informatics from IIT-Bombay

 

Post Graduate Diploma in Business Analytics  (PGDBA) jointly offered by  ISI Kolkata, IIT Kharagpur  and IIM Calcutta

 

 

Minimum of 55% marks or an equivalent grade in aggregate of all semesters /years

50% for SC,ST
