In order to appear for the RBI Grade B Exam, a candidate should satisfy the mentioned criteria. Criteria are mainly rigid, however, in some conditions relaxations are provided to some categories.

RBI Grade B 2021 Eligibility

Eligible candidates after filling the form should immediately refer the RBI Grade B Exam Syllabus and start preparing for it as very less time is there in between registration and exam.

Eligibility of the candidate is determined by the following criteria:

RBI Grade B 2021 Exam Eligibility based on Nationality

  • Must be a citizen of India
  • Must be a subjected of Bhutan
  • Must be a subject of Nepal
  • Candidates must be a Tibetan Refugee, came to India before 1st January 1962, and with the intent of getting permanently settled in India.
  • A Person of Indian Origin(Having PIO Card) who has moved from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African nations of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania (once in the past Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with an aim to forever settle in the nation.

RBI Grade B 2021 Exam Eligibility based on Age Limit

Candidates ought to be at least 21 years of age. Candidates ought not to be more than 30 years old. Candidates who are possessing M.Phil. and Ph.D. qualification, the upper age limit for them will between 32 and 34 years respectively

  • Age Relaxation: Age Relaxation of 3 years for OBC candidate and 5 years for SC ST candidates. Get a clearer picture from the following table:

Note: Age relaxation should be applicable as per the government rules.

  • Number of Attempts: If General Category candidates have just seemed 6-times for Phase-I Exam of this post previously, at that point they would be viewed as ineligible to apply. Be that as it may, there is no such confinement in the event of applicants having a place with SC/ST/OBC/PWD if the posts are held for them

  Officers in Grade 'B' (DR) - DSIM  A Master's Degree in Mathematical/Statistics Statistics/Mathematical Economics/ Econometrics/ Statistics & Informatics from IIT-Kharagpur/ Applied Statistics & Informatics from IIT-BombayPost Graduate Diploma in Business Analytics  (PGDBA) jointly offered by  ISI Kolkata, IIT Kharagpur  and IIM Calcutta Minimum of 55% marks or an equivalent grade in aggregate of all semesters /years 50% for SC, ST
