AP EAPCET 2023 Marking Scheme

AP EAPCET 2023 marking scheme will help candidates calculate the approximate score they have secured in the qualifying exam. AP EAPCET 2023 Exam Pattern is categorised into two sections, namely Engineering & Agriculture, and also the marking scheme for both sections are the same. For each correct answer/response, candidates will be given one mark. Also, there is no provision of negative marking for incorrect answers.

AP EAPCET 2023 Minimum Qualifying Marks

  • Candidate should get a minimum percentage of 25% in AP EAPCET 2023 to be considered for the ranking.
  • There is no specified minimum qualifying mark for candidates belonging to the Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe. 

AP EAPCET exam has 3 parts consisting of 160 questions. The questions are objective-type MCQ questions in all the sections.

  • Each question is of 1 mark. AP EAPCET exam 2023 does not have negative markings.
  • The exam is conducted for 3 hours.
  • All three sections are compulsory for students to attempt. The three sections are Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics/Biology.
  • All the questions are in MCQ format.
  • AP EAPCET is conducted in two parts: Engineering and Agriculture or Medical.
  • For Engineering applicants, the third section is Mathematics, and for Agriculture or Medical applications, it is biology.

AP EAPCET Exam Pattern 2023: Section Wise Time Allocation

AP EAPCET exam pattern 2023 will have at least 160 MCQs. For any of the AP EAPCET sections, there is no set time limit per section. However, experts recommend applicants set a time restriction for completing each portion with the most attempts for the AP EAPCET 2023.   • Attempt the Mathematics Section first. It is the most difficult section, and candidates should dedicate the maximum time to this section of the AP EAPCET exam pattern 2023.
  • The physics section is a mixed bag. 25% of the questions are difficult. The rest follow a textbook pattern. Therefore, this section should be attempted second.
  • The chemistry section is generally the easiest in the AP EAPCET exam pattern 2023.

AP EAPCET Exam 2023 Important Instructions

AP EAPCET exam 2023 has some important instructions to be followed while giving the examination. Here are some important instructions given by the Conducting Body Officials to be followed:

  • Candidates must use a black/blue ballpoint pen to fill out the information.
  • Fill in the Booklet S. No. and Booklet Code for the question paper.
  • In case of any defects in the OMR sheet or question paper, ask the invigilator to replace it with the same booklet code as fast as possible.
  • There is a strict prohibition on using calculators, mathematical tools, log books, pagers, cell phones, or other electronic devices.
  • On the OMR sheet, darken the appropriate circle corresponding to the correct answer with only a Black ballpoint pen pencil. If you wish to change the answer, erase the answer and fill in the correct circle.
  • The answer will be invalid if the candidate has darkened more than one circle.
