Daily Routine Classes commence at 9:00 AM and conclude at 4:10 PM, with two 10-min breaks and one hour recess in between. The curriculum there is heavily test-based. We have internal exams held every two weeks. Each subject has a minimum of two assignments per semester. At the end of every sem, we have university exams. Quality and method of teaching. Professors tend to follow the "by the book" and "to the test" approach in teaching. Nothing new beyond our syllabus is taught in our classrooms. Our professors reference each and every topic with the number of marks in exams. Nevertheless, their formulaic way of teaching is easy to follow for even the most academically-challenged student. Overall, the college does provide an ambiance for studying.
The only functioning student society is the IEEE. Any other clubs mentioned in the brochures are for namesake alone. The only pivotal event in college life is the annual TechFest. Students from all branches are expected to create a project. However, it doesn't seem to have many outsiders, given that the college is situated in a village. The cultural festival and sports are for namesake only. In general, social life is pathetic. Most students are morbidly competitive and they talk about only academics.
Class starts at 9 am and ends at 4:10 pm and between this timing, 10 minutes breaks are provided along with the lunch break of one hour. The Quality and method of teaching are good and the college library provides all the good books for studying purposes. Overall experience is good.
The student societies available here are IEEE. There are different clubs available here but are not active enough, IEEE is the only active one. The faculty support in my department(ECE) is very less in this field. The college conducts sports and cultural day for the namesake. The life in the college is very boring other than having good friends in general.
