Aspirants seeking admission to 5 year Full-time B.D.S Program should meet the following criteria as specified by the institute. It is a 4 year + 1-year Internship Course. The following gives detailed information on Admission Procedure for the BDS course offered at UDMRI.

Candidates seeking admission to the BDS course must secure at least 50% marks in 10+2 examinations conducted by the U.P board or any other recognized HS board/university, with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology as compulsory subjects.
60% of seats for the BDS course are filled under Management Quota for which candidates have to appear for a combined Medical Examination conducted by an association of all private colleges to gain admission.
Candidates who have appeared for the NEET UG exam are also eligible to apply under the management quota.
The rest of the 40% seats are filled through the Uttarakhand Pre-Medical Test (UPMT) under State Quota.
Candidates are shortlisted on the basis of marks obtained in the qualifying exam and admission test score.
A merit list is drawn by the college and shortlisted candidates are called for counseling and document verification.
Candidates should not be less than 17 years of age before 31st December of the commencing session for BDS.
Candidates interested in applying to the MDS course must possess a BDS degree from any institution recognized by the Dental Council of India.
MDS applicants are evaluated on the basis of marks obtained in the qualifying exam and a merit list of shortlisted candidates is released by the college.

Seat Availability :

Seats offered for the BDS course are divided into 2 categories- Management quota and State quota. 60% of the seats are filled under management quota through a combined Medical Examination conducted by an association of all private colleges in Uttarakhand. The Masters of Dental Surgery (MDS) course offered by the college is completed over a period of three-year and the program is approved by the Dental Council of India. Candidate must pass BDS degree from a recognized university. Admissions to the MDS program are based on merit in the qualifying examination. Tips for a successful Admission Procedure

All candidates are required to fill an accurate application form.
Keeping a check on notifications for dates and other important notifications from the official sources will prevent students from missing out on important events of the admission process.
