2 hostels are there and the hostel is quite better and the fees are around 2000 per month. We get many options for PGs and other diploma courses outside courses and their cost is minimum of 1 lakh. The food in college is good and the cost is 40 Rs per meal. Quality of classroom, labs, libraries, dining halls, WiFi is well maintained.

After the establishment of the University of Mumbai in the year 1857 a merchant prince in Bombay made a donation of Rs. 2,00,000 in August, 1864 "towards the erection of a university library which may be an ornament to the city, and by becoming a storehouse of t he learned works, not only of the past but of many generations to come, may be the means of promoting the high ends of the University."

Jawaharlal Nehru Library (JNL) is the central library, located on the campus at Kalina. This library is well and adequately equipped with technology and applied research journals and books of the University of Mumbai are kept in the libraries of the Institute of Chemical technology, Tata Institute of Fundamental Research, Jamnalal Bajaj Institute of Management Studies and Tata Memorial Hospital.
