Library

The Tecnia Library is in quite & serene setting, which makes it an ideal place for the academic pursuits studies. Tecnia library and information centre is centrally air-conditioned and well furnished with a seating capacity to accommodate more than 100 members. The Tecnia Library is spread over 2800 sq. ft of area and provides stimulation to young minds. The Institute library has been primarily designed to meet the requirements of the Institute's academic programmes. Education requires a well-stocked library with efficient and effective information retrieval system within the reach at convenient time. Having regard to this fact, the Institute has an excellent library having a large stock of books, periodicals and journals of national and international origin. There are large no. of volumes of specialized Books, Newspapers, Journals, Dictionaries, Encyclopedia's and bound journals on various subjects. The library is housed in a quiet and serene setting which makes it an ideal place for academic pursuits. No wonder, the library can proudly lay claims to being one among the best business school libraries. Tecnia Library has unique distinction of having more than 42000 volumes of meticulously selected collection of books covering all possible aspects of interests in the field of Management, Computer Science, Journalism, Marketing, Finance, Human Resources, Economics, Business Strategies, Operation Mgt, Information Technology and Mass Communication.

Wi-Fi campus

Institute provides Wireless connectivity (Wi-Fi) in entire campus to access online information anywhere in and around the campus using wi-fi enabled Laptops. Wireless Network (Wi-FI) is deployed using diagonally configured, managed wireless access points (WAP) through 802.11g technolgy, which offers higher speeds connectivity of 54 Mbps. For security purpose Wi-Fi Whatson Router, uses a manually configured Service Set Identifier and password for the first evel of security by network engineers. Only notebooks configured with an ID are allowed to proceed to the next level of authentication .Data transferred between notebooks and access points is encrypted supported by WiFi Protected Access (WPA), a new Wi-Fi Alliance specification. It is based on the proposed IEEE 802.11i security standard. As a second level of security, a manual static IP configuration for authentication is developed for users to log into the network. WLAN access points are designed in such a way that the wireless network cannot be accessed beyond the restricted area—there is no leakage of signals.

 Computer Laboratories

Institute has four computer laboratories in MCA Deptt. each equipped with four high-speed computers, Digital kit, FCP Machine, Routers, Switches, LAN Kits required softwares BM Rational Rose, SPSS 17.0, SQL Server 2008, Visual Studio 2008, Codegear C++, Builder 2009, Professional Office 007, Adobe Dream weaver 8.0, Adobe Flash Pro, Adobe PageMaker 7.0, Adobe Video Bundle, Corel Draw, Microsoft Visual Studio Pro 2008, Oracle 11g, Adobe Indesign, Photoshop CS4, Quark Xpress and Final Cut Pro/Studio with Antivirus Quick Heal 2010, etc as per the requirement of concern subject as per University syllabus. In addition, there are provision for separate troubleshooting and networking laboratories. The lab technicians ensures that each group of students gets to use one computer for the laboratory period in all the laboratory classes for the entire semester.

Institution Auditorium

Spread over a vast area in the heart of the capital's cultural arena and with seating capacity of 300 people, the auditorium is on impressive structure. A prominent part of the complex is the TECNIA INSTITUTE OF ADVANCED STUDIES, one of the premier educational institutions of INDIA.

The outstanding feature of the auditorium is the stage. it is large by any standards and ideal for all kinds of presentations, ranging from plays, ballets, to group and solo performances. For a super quick change of scene and sets the auditorium is equipped with a "flying" System. There are 6 pipes connected by pulleys and counterweights that span the length and the depth of the stage and can operate 6 curtains and scene sets simultaneously.

Conference Hall

The Institute has a well equipped Conference Hall fitted with PA System & LCD Projector for carrying out interactive discussions and presentations by the students. Class Rooms Like good working condition leads to better output, good classroom facilities are a must for effective learning. The institute modern class rooms with a sitting capacity of 60 students respectively. The rooms are well ventilated and aesthetically designed to ensure a proper learning environment. The rooms are fitted with an LCD projector and a networked computer with Wi-Fi connectivity to incorporate for additional teaching aids.

Seminar Room

The Institute has three fully air-conditioned seminar rooms, equipped with the state of the art infrastructure. The seating capacity of more than 120 enables the Institute to conduct various events such as Seminars, Guest Lectures, Media Fest, Corporate Meet, Debates, Mock Interviews, Personality Development, etc at frequent intervals.

Sports Facilities (Indoor & Outdoor)

With a strong focus on overall development of the student's personality, TECNIA has robust sporting infrastructure. This includes facilities for Chess, TT, soccer, cricket, tennis, basket ball, volley ball, throw ball, badminton, indoor games etc. These facilities have had a role to play in the institute having a strong sporting culture.

Studies along with the enchanting aroma of food and beverages make a wonderful pair. We here at Tecnia take care of all the factors affecting students, be it health, hygiene or entertainment. In order to satisfy the appetite of the students and to give them a break after a day's hard work, the institute campus is provided with a relaxing and comfortable canteen. The canteen not only provide the students of the campus with mouth watering dishes but is also one of the most happening places in the campus with all the students gathering there to discuss their new experiences in the campus. The canteen at Tecnia give students that ideal environment for endless discussions and debates.

Healthy and hygienic meals are made in the Institute canteen by a professionally managed catering company. It is maintained with efficient service and a take away counter. Food is available at nominal rates.

Bank Facility

The State Bank of India branch & ATM facility is available in the institute campus to give the students and staff of the institute as well as the general public, money management facility. This fully computerized bank provides all the best possible facilities available in any premiere standard bank of India.

Medical Facility

The institute provides the first-aid services to their students. The institute has a doctor for regular health check-up of the students.

Photocopying Facility

The photocopying facility is provided at Te cnia only for official purposes. However, students can use the photocopying facility at a reasonable cost, as announced from time to time.

Separate Common Rooms For Boys & Girls

Keeping in view a dire of providing separate common rooms for boys and girls, the management of the Institute has allotted 2 separate rooms, 1 for boys and 1 for girls to enable them to sit and discuss various educational points with each other especially when they don’t have any class. These rooms are also used for socializing, discussion and interacting with each other, exchanging notes taken in the class and on some occasion to take rest from their busy schedule of teaching work.

Power Backup

D.G. Set of 180 KV capacities in fine working condition is provided to the entire building of Tecnia Institute of Advanced Studies. D. G. Set put to used does not cause pollution by smoke and create noise undesirably.3 Nos. of online UPS Make EATON 20 KVA with 3 Phase input / 1 Phase Output.

Safety Measures

Institute is well equipped with safety measures audited frequently by professionals. The safety measure Structure Safety, Earthquake Resistant, Adequately ventilation, fire fighting systems of the building is certified by Govt. of National Capital Territory, of Delhi Head Quarters: Delhi Fire Services, New Delhi-01 and SWAIT ARCHITECT & ENGINEERS.
