Post Graduate Program [PGP] Details

SCDL PGP is a postgraduate program offered in a distance learning format. The PGP course has a course duration of 1 year. However, the registration remains valid for two years; therefore, students can extend the course for one more year. The course is offered in two subjects- Agribusiness Management and Strategic Management.

Admission to SCDL PGP is direct and is not based on any entrance exam.

SCDL PGP Eligibility Criteria

SCDL PGP eligibility criteria require that the applicants graduate from a recognized university. International students must be from a SAARC country or have a graduate degree from an institution in a SAARC nation. Students in their final year can also apply for admission to the course. 

SCDL PGP Fees 

The SCDL PGP fees for both the subject is different and is given below:

It is the total academic fee for the students of the general category. For students of the defence quota, the total academic fee is different. Students can also pay the fee in instalments, increasing the total amount. 

The academic fee does not include the exam fee and project fee. The exam fee has to be submitted every time students appear for exams and is non-refundable. 

 SCDL PGP Admission

Admission to the SCDL PGP courses is direct and open for all willing students. Students who fulfil the eligibility criteria can get admission to the course. 

Application Procedure

SCDL runs two sessions a year, and admission for each session is open for a particular period. Applicants can fill out the application form during the admission period for each session. The official SCDL website will update students on the SCDL PGP application procedure. The steps to apply for the PGP program are as follows:

• Register as a new user.
• Click on "Apply Now".
• Purchase the form.
• Fill in the online application and submit it.
• Pay the SCDL fees.

Applicants can apply online or offline for the admission form and pay the application fee. However, the institute will not accept requests for admission via mail.

Entrance Exams

SCDL does not conduct any entrance exam for admission to the PGP program. 

Documents Required

At the time of admission, students are required to present a few important documents. The list of these documents is given below:

• Marksheet and Certificate of 10th and 12th.
• Photo ID proof such as Adhaar Card
• Passport sizes pictures
• Proof of income of parents
