Postgraduate Diploma (PGD) Details
SCDL PGD is a one-year to two-year postgraduate diploma program with a registration period of 4 years. The course is offered in 22 different subjects and is available in distance learning formats. The specializations for SCDL PGD courses include Data Science, International Business, Business administration, Retail Management, and School Counselling.
Admission to SCDL PGD is direct and is not based on any entrance exam.

SCDL PGD Eligibility Criteria
As per SCDL PGD eligibility criteria, applicants must be graduates of a recognized university. International students can also apply for the course. Students in their final year are also eligible for application.
For PGD courses like PGD in Data Science, students must also have basic knowledge of computer languages C and C+.
SCDL PGD Fees
The SCDL PGD fees range from INR 40,000 to INR 58,000. The given amount is the total academic fee for students of the general category and may differ for students of the defence quota.
Academic fees do not include exam fees or project fees. Students must pay the exam fee every time they appear for the exams.
SCDL PGD Admission
All willing students may apply directly to the SCDL PGD courses. All the students fulfilling the eligibility criteria are admitted to the course.
Application Procedure
SCDL PGD application procedure includes registering as a new user and filling out the application form. The admission portal is open twice, as there are two sessions for each course. Applicants can fill out the application form during the admission period for each session. The admission dates are updated regularly on the official website. The steps to apply for the PGD program are as follows:

- Register as a new user.
- Click on "Apply Now".
- Purchase the form.
- Fill in the online application and submit it.
- Pay the SCDL fees.
The application form can be obtained online or offline by applicants, and they can pay the application fee accordingly. However, mail-in admissions requests will not be accepted by the institute.
Entrance Exams
SCDL does not conduct any entrance exam for admission to the PGD program.
Documents Required
At the time of admission, students are required to present a few important documents. The list of these documents is given below:
