There are various committees in the college. Cultural Technical, etc. These committees are of great importance during fests.

The infrastructure is great. The labs are well equipped. Teachers have great knowledge about the subject. The library has a lot of books. The canteen is okay.

The daily routine is 8 to 5 class. Depends upon the lectures. Smart teaching method is preferred

The college fee is 1 lakh 15000 Rs. there are plenty of scholarships available along with technical fests.

High placement record and big companies recruit students from here. The TPO is great and helps us get placed.

The campus is structured well. Teachers are great. A bit strict but a good environment for engineering.

Timing 8-5 college. Average quality and some teachers are good enough to teach. Average.

INR fees100000 per year. Government scholarship available. 150 out 1000 student gets the scholarship. No loans needed.

The course fee is INR 1 lakh per year. Scholarship options are available. 10-15 Students will get it.

College allows you to do the internship outside the campus but if you are getting an internship from campus, you have to pay for it instead of getting paid.prefer doing internships not from campus. key companies hiring are the companies mainly l&t and Capgemini. The average salary is around 3lakhs/annum and 70% student got placed. 

If you get above 70 marks in your CET,you can get admission here easily I gave JEE exam that time but now CET score is accepted for admission Cut off for my course would be around 65-70 marks

A student should have a good academic record. One also has to write and score more than 87% marks in MAH CET entrance exam.

• The college has many student societies like CSI(Computer Society of India), Entrepreunership Cell, NSS Unit, Robotics Student Body, ISTE affiliation, IEEE AND IETE associaton to name a few.
• The college cultural festival IRIS is celebrated in February every year with enthusiasm and has various sports competitions. The college also has a technical festival MOSAIC which has technical competitions with cash prizes.
• Life in the college can get pretty mundane and boring on normal days.

• There is a hostel for students within the college campus.
• The college canteen is pretty average and provides meals at affordable rates. Not a big variety of food to choose from at the canteen.
• The classrooms are spacious and equipped with LCD projectors. The labs are air conditioned. The college currently does not have a wi-fi network that is accessible by students within the campus.

• The college has a commendable placement record. Companies like Tata Consultancy Services, Infosys, L&T, Tech Mahindra hire graduates from the college during their campus placement drives.
• The average yearly package is around Rs 3.3 lakhs, although there are higher packages offered by some companies who hire fewer and more competent graduates.
• The college has an alumni association that meets annualy every year. There are a few student paid internships that are organized by the training and placement committee of the college. 

• The course fees are pretty high, SFIT being a privately funded institute. Yearly fees are around Rupees 85000. The college offers post graduate degress as well as Doctorate degrees in Computer Science and Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering. The fees can go well above Rupees Rs 1 lakh a year.
• The college does not offer any scholarships to the students but students can apply for scholarships offered by the government or other private foundations via the college.
• In case loans are needed, interest free loans are available from various banks as well as they can be taken from Catholic Syrian Bank just outside the college.

The classes normally begin everyday at 8 am and usually go on till 4 pm. The lecture schedules are followed as strictly as possible so don't expect lectures to be cancelled except for unavoidable reasons. The college has good and experienced faculty who teach well and are ready to help with any student difficulties. The campus is huge and spreads over 5 acres. The college infrastructure is pretty average. The library has an excellent collection of books, magazines, and technical journals. Expect a lot of assignments and projects, just as you would in any other engineering institute, with short deadlines. The industry placement programme and placement record of the college is commendable. There are many technical and extra curricular student clubs you can join in the college. The college has a basketball court, volleyball court and a badminton court. The new building under construction is equipped with a gym and has facilites for indoor games like table tennis and carrom. A lot of industrial visits and technical seminars/workshops are organized by the student bodies throughout the year. Not a lot of places ho hang out near the college except the Domino's Pizza shop and Fizzy soda nearby. The college is easily reachable from Borivali Station West.

• The daily routine consists of 8 hours classes.
• The method of teaching is good. Faculty takes efforts to make the students understand better.

• Student societies include IEEE, IETE and CSI 
• The college holds two festivals in one academic year:  MOSAIC (Technical fest - held in the odd semester) and IRIS (Cultural Fest - in the even semester.  MOSAIC sees a lot of competitions related to technical stuff like robotics and technical presentations. While IRIS holds dance, singing, other cultural and sports competitions.

• There are two canteens and both are bad. One is a classroom converted to a canteen. Variety of food is equal to zero and taste is not that good. Students prefer to get their lunch tiffins from home.
• Wi-Fi is available to all students of the college. Outdoor facilities are good too. Labs are small and do not have sufficient equipments for all students (for eg: it's 1 oscilloscope for 10 students in a lab). The library is good and holds all academic books.

• No internship opportunities that come via the college
• Companies that visit SFIT are Capgemini, Accenture, TCS, Infosys, MAQ, Tech Mahindra, Indusvalley etc. All companies that visit are I.T. based companies. None are for core courses such as for Electronics or Telecom based.
• Average annual salary - Rs. 3,00,000/- lakhs per annum. About 70-80% of the batch gets placed in a year, though none are core-based companies.

• Fees for B.E. are between Rs. 95,000 to Rs. 1,00,000 lakh per annum(This is pretty average compared to other colleges in Mumbai).
• No scholarship are available from the college.
• In fact the college some kind of development fees for admission to its minority quota (about Rs. 60000/- in the first year).

• SFIT is ranked pretty well in Mumbai. Being a catholic run institute, it is very strict in terms of discipline (attendance and conduct). But you can find all types of students, loads of catholics though (50% minority quota).
• About the faculty over here: The senior and experienced faculty excel in their teaching and students really like to attend their lectures.
  But there are a lot of newly-recruited lecturers who aren't really well-versed in the subjects they teach.
