About St Francis Institute of Technology, Mumbai
St Francis Institute of Technology (SFIT), Mumbai was established in 1999, with a view to create an Engineering Degree Institute to fulfill the long felt public need of an Institute of Excellence in Borivli. SFIT is accredited by national Board of accreditation (NBA), approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and is affiliated to the University of Mumbai. SFIT has three UG Programs and two PG Programs in the most coveted disciplines considering both industrial need and public preference.
The vision of the college is to be a Chrysalis where bright youngsters are transformed into technological entrepreneurs and innovative leaders of tomorrow's world, consistent with the Franciscan vision of integrity, peace and love. The mission of the college is to hurn out highly competent engineering graduates with a commitment to result oriented work, a perennial zeal for learning, a quest for excellence, an open mind and the universal values of honesty, dignity and mutual care.
Campus of St Francis Institute of Technology -
The campus of the college is spread over an area of 5 acres of land in a lush green ambience. St Francis Institute of Technology offers numerous facilities to the aspirants, in order to impart quality education to them.

SFIT is Roman Catholic Minority Educational Institute affiliated to the University of Mumbai, approved by AICTE and ISO 9001: 2008 certified.
The total intake at present is 360 students per year.
At SFIT we offer three Degree Programs in the most coveted disciplines considering both industrial need and public preference, namely:
- Computer Engineering
- Information Technology
- Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering
We also offer Master of Engineering (M.E.) programme as well as PhD programs,
- Computer Engineering and
- Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering.
