What is the qualifying examination? Do I need to give any entrance exams for admission?
The candidates are being selected on the basis of their qualifying examination merit list which varies for the graduate and postgraduate courses.
How much would be the highest cutoff for Civil Section (SC)?
The highest cutoff for Civil Section (SC) is 137.5 marks
What courses does the university offers?
The university offers engineering and management courses in the B.Tech, M.Tech, MCA, MBA and PhD.
One can join our college by completing class 12 with a science background or with an engineering diploma. One can get admission in our college either by university counselling or by directly approaching management.
For joining our college, the admission procedure is the same for the diploma candidates. Also, it does not require any specific entrance exams to join our college. I have joined our college through university counselling.
The cutoff for my course is around 190 out of 200. The cutoffs vary every year based on the 12 board exam results.
The college offers admission through Anna University counselling and Management quota. Students who have completed 12th standard in Tamil Nadu can apply to this college through anna university counselling and will get into the college through Merit. The students who have completed their 12th standard in other state and who are willing to join through Anna University counselling can apply through Other state quotas. Students who are willing to get into the college can also get a seat through management quota. Students will have to contact the college administration for more details regarding this matter.
The typical cutoffs for Bachelor of Engineering in Mechatronics various from 85% to 95% in 12th standard. While for other popular courses like Mechanical Engineering and Computer Science Engineering the cutoffs vary from 95% to 98% in 12th standard.
Admission is regarding the cutoff marks of 12th standard. It has two types of admission one is counseling and another one is management, for management students, 10lakhs should be paid as a donation. Whereas for counseling students depending upon the caste the cutoff mark gets varies, for example, I am from BCM and for me is 192.5.
There is no entrance exam. Admissions are done in two ways. One is management quota and Anna University counseling quota. Management quota is a very easiest way to join all college. Counseling quota based on the cutoff and caste will eligible for this course.
