The SCLC Kolkatta offers only BA.LLB in their college. The Eligibility criteria for this prestigious college is:
H.S. or equivalent From the recognized Board/ Council/with minimum of 45% marks in aggregate
40% marks in case of SC/ST/P.H. candidate.
The SCLC offers the candidtes admission directly through their entrance test.
The only way to apply for examination is through online registration process. There is no other mode available to apply for the examination. The form will be available on the website year-through.

The admission to the Bachelor of Laws (B.A.LL.B.) Course is done, following the merit list prepared On the basis of the Entrance Examination conducted by the University of Calcutta.
Any person passed H.S. (10+2 level) examination with minimum 45% (40% in case of S.C.; S.T.; and P.H.) marks in aggregate (taking into consideration best of 4 papers excluding WBCHSE Environment Science) will be eligible for admission to the B.A.LL.B.Entrance test Course
The person appearing in the (10+2 level) examination will be allowed to sit the Entrance Examination. But their admission to the B.A.LL.B. , Course will be subject to the condition of successful completion of (10+2 level) Examination at the time of Counseling of the admission.
The admission of the B.A.LL.B.(Honours) Course from the Sixth Semester is done through merit list considering the marks of (10+2 level) examination and First Semester to Fourth Semester marks together after inviting application by the Secretary, Faculty Council for Post Graduate Studies in Law from time to time.
Eligibility criteria to get into the B.A. LL.B. (Hons.) Integrated Course under the University of Calcutta is 10+2 from any recognized education board with minimum 45% in best of four subjects, excluding Environmental Studies. The minimum percentage to be scored by candidates from SC/ST/PWD is 40% in best of four subjects in 10+2.
Willing candidates must appear in the B.A. LL.B. entrance exam conducted by the University of Calcutta in order to get admitted into the course. Total 13 colleges under the University of Calcutta participates in the exam along with 4 government law colleges. There are no specific cut offs as the final candidates for admission are selected upon the results of the entrance exam and everyone can participate in the counselling process. However, government law colleges barely go beyond 480-500 rank.
First of all, to get into South Calcutta law college students have to qualify by attending an entrance exam called C.U entrance (B.A.LL.B.)
