Silicon Institute of Technology has excellent facilities that ensure that students live with ease, joy, and comfort. Spread over 18.5 acres, SIT ensures the safety of the student as well as looks after their welfare and requirements. Following are the infrastructure facilities available at the campus.
Classrooms: SIT has well-organized and furnished classrooms equipped with the latest technologies such as digital boards, and LCD projectors to make sure a student must have a better learning experience.
Hostel Facilities: Hostels at SIT are named the Silicon Residences. There are two boys' residences and one girls' residence. Students can choose an AC or non-AC room as per their preference. Each resident is provided with a bed, table, chair, mattress, pillow, and wardrobe. A group of senior and experienced faculty members constitutes the Residence Committee. The committee is responsible for the overall administration and day-to-day management of all the residences.
Transport: SIT has its own fleet of buses designed as per the mandatory standards, and manned by trained drivers and personnel sensitized to the needs of students. The buses are equipped with GPS, and first aid kits and run on different routes covering all parts of the city. Resident students can take the buses once a week to go to the city. Special trips can also be arranged on student requests.
Auditorium: The 355-seater auditorium featuring a state–of–the–an art audiovisual system is an ideal place for movie shows, theatre performances, conferences, and staff programs. The Institute hosts the annual induction program for the new batch of students here. SiliconTech’s Cine Club organizes weekly screenings of movies from across the world for students and employees at the auditorium.
SKY Lab: The SkyLab at SIT is one of the students’ favorite spots on campus. It is an outdoor WiFi zone with high-speed internet access around a picturesque fountain, music, and a sculpted reflective roof. Students use this facility for internet browsing while listening to soothing background music, matching the hour of the day. The SkyLab allows students to bond over combined studies, music, and food and create memories for a lifetime.
Lecture theaters: Lecture Theatres at SiliconTech provide students with learning spaces that are flexible, comfortable, and not classroom bound. The design of the theatres, with semicircular, tiered seats, enables a better view and improves the teaching-learning process. The mini- theatres are complete with cushioned seats, projectors, surround sound systems, microphones, and a seating capacity of around 155. Equipped with an audio-visual facility, they are perfect for holding small talks, mini-events, seminars, presentations, and combined classes.
Food Courts: SiliconTech has four dining halls and one cafeteria within the campus. Each of them serves freshly prepared, delicious, nutritious food from a variety of cuisines. There are exclusive dining halls for vegetarians, non-vegetarians, and college staff. A common dining hall serves food for guests as well as staff members. A dedicated Canteen Committee of student representatives, supervisors, and faculty manages the operations of the canteen.
Fitness Clubs: Different Sports Clubs, Health clubs & gyms, and the Yoga Club provide many options for students to stay healthy and fit. Train in SiliconTech’s well-equipped gym with facilities for cardio and strength training and foam rolling for muscle relaxation under the expert guidance of a gym instructor. Students can learn yoga from a professional instructor. The SiliconTech Health Club organizes webinars and talks for students to get the best advice for their physical and emotional health.

Our college has 3 hostels- 1 Girl's Hostel and 2 Boy's Hostel. Hostels can be more well maintained on regular basis and it's infrastructure should be improved more. We should have provisions of having Ac & Non-Ac hostels. And the size of rooms we have in our hostel, 2 people should share a room instead of 3. Hostel fee is Ok. I have no idea about the PGs outside college. Food of our college is Ok kind not much good, can be better. Per month our canteen is around Rs. 2700-3000, which is high according to me. Our college should improve its infrastructure especially of the class rooms of our department. The condition of our classrooms are highly disappointing. Labs are good and well equipped. Library is good but I belief atleast a Library should AC if not the classrooms. Non-veg canteen Dining hall should be kept more hygienic. Wi-fi is another major thing which our college lacks and need to provide to the students.
