Sigma College of Architecture which is located in Moododu, Anducode P O, near Kuzhithurai, is the only college offering B. Arch & M. Arch programs in the southern zone of Tamil Nadu covering Thootukudi, Tirunelveli and Kanyakumari districts. The College is positioned amidst lush green vegetation and a rolling landscape. Nagercoil and Trivandrum towns are just one hour of travel from the college. The college is managed by Sigma Educational and Charitable Trust. The institution focuses on imparting an outcome-based education that can meet the future architectural demands of our country. SICA provides a creative and value-rich ambience to transform pupils with professional qualities as well as leadership skills.  The college wants to bridge the gap between design and creation in architectural education which can be achieved through a practice-based learning environment. Sigma College of Architecture, Kanyakumari is approved by the Council of Architecture [COA] and the Indian Society for Technical Education [ISTE] and is affiliated with Anna University, Chennai. SICA is an ISO 9002:2008 Certified Institution that offers undergraduate and postgraduate courses in the field of Architecture.

SICA Eligibility Criteria

The courses offered by SICA have different eligibility criteria which the students must have qualified in order to get admission to the college. The eligibility criteria for the courses are mentioned below.

SICA B.Arch Eligibility

• Candidates must have passed the 10+2 examination or its equivalent with a minimum of 50% marks in 10+2 and 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.
• Candidates must have a valid score of not below 40% (80/200) in NATA.

SICA M.Arch Eligibility

• Candidates must have completed graduation in architecture from a recognized university.

100% of students are placed either as Architects in reputed firms or as entrepreneurs or as freelance consultants. This has been achieved easily because of the practical oriented exposure given to our students through various case studies, field visits, rural study programmes, consultancy activities, camps, societal activities, international visits, educational tours in India and abroad, practical training at reputed internship firms, various bridging programmes by way of workshops, seminars, expert talks, value-added courses, conferences, club activities, professional student chapter activities, symposiums, etc.

SICA Scholarships

The College Trust (Sigma Educational and Charitable Trust) will set apart a fixed amount every year to offer scholarships to students with high academic records, and those with athletic or artistic talent. The scholarship will be also available to students from underrepresented groups and those who demonstrate financial need. The students under this scholarship will not be charged tuition fees and hostel charges. Also every year the college will give admissions under management quota to top-ranking students from poor families in Kanyakumari District. These students will not be charged tuition fees and hostel charges.
