Bachelor of Technology [B.Tech], batch of 2020

The Daily routine is pretty well organized and it varies from year to year. Teaching is really good and the staff encourages participation in extracurricular activities. Overall experience is pretty great

There are lots of student societies active in our college like EDC, SAE, IETE, CSI etc. There are literature clubs, music clubs, theatre, dance etc. There are 2 main fests that happen once every academic year cognition (tech fest) and TML (cultural fest). Life in college is pretty chilled and fun

Bachelor of Engineering [BE] (Electronics & Communication Engineering), batch of 2020
  • We have lectures from 8-4pm , timing is quite big but they complete the total portion with good explanation in theory as well as practical lectures.
  • Teachers are well qualified and help children to cope up.

  • There are variety of clubs and groups like literature, sports ,dance ,drama etc.
  • Good opportunity is provided to all students to showcase their talents .
  • The two major events are tech fest and cultural fest .

Bachelor of Engineering [BE] (Mechanical Engineering), batch of 2017
  • The college hours is from 9:00am - 5:30pm.
  • The daily routine is quite hectic.
  • Lectures and practicals are both conducted daily.
  • Attendance is a major concern for the students.
  • It is mandatory to maintain 75% attendance here.
  • After one month of the college's start date first unit test is conducted and again after one-month second unit test is held.
  • Assignments vary from branch to branch.
  • But in general, one has to 4-6 assignments comprising of 2-4 questions per subject.
  • The quality of teaching is just average here at SIES Graduate School of Technology, Mumbai.
  • Don't expect highly skilled professors. And one important thing, do not expect question bank for the unit test exams.
  • The overall experience is good as my batch is good.

  • The college has well-established student chapters.
  • Each chapter is handled by students separately with no involvement of faculty.
  • There are total five student chapter namely IEEE IETE CSI SAE ISHRAE.
  • Each student chapter is very much active and conducts workshop and seminars for free or at a nominal cost twice a semester.
  • Also, there are two fests organised per academic year.
  • Technical fest COGNITION in the odd semester in the month of September.
  • In cognition three major events are organised - a national level science Olympiad for First-year students only named as Matrix, a national level technical paper presentation competition named as Texter and a national level project presentation named as innovations++.
  • Other fun technical events are also organised during 3 days of the fest.
  • Cultural come Technical fest TATVA MOKSH LAKSHYA (TML) is organised in the even semester in the month of February.
  • TML comprises of 60+ cultural sports and technical events followed by DJ night on the last day of the fest.
  • The crowd of SIES is quite enthusiastic. You will find some really brainy people around you.
