Shree Motilal Kanhaiyalal Forma Institute of Technology offers separate hostel accommodation for boys and girls. SMKFIT facilities for hostellers are spacious, safe, and secured with a cordial environment and surrounded by pleasant landscapes. Also, a hygienic kitchen has been provided in each hostel with large dining halls.

All the rooms at the hostels are well furnished. The four ladies hostels can accommodate one thousand four hundred and above borders and the seven boys' hostel accommodates 2,500 and above borders. Both the hostels have round-the-clock Wi-Fi connectivity and a medical facility. Proper hygienic conditions and strict supervision are maintained at the hostels.

Shree Motilal Kanhaiyalal Fomra Institute of Technology has a separate placement cell engaged with the objectives of training students so they can be more employable, establish industry-institute interaction, guide students for higher studies and creating awareness about taking up entrepreneurship.

The placement cell conducts aptitude tests, goal selling, personality development, interview techniques, and communication skills for the students in preparation for facing interviews. In the 2015-2019 batch, 106 students were placed out of 116 students. Some of the major recruiters are Infosys, Accenture, Dell, HCL, Biocon, BPL, RBS, Wipro, Tata Consultancy Services, L&T Infotech Ltd., and Sathyam Computer Services.
