The campus is designed in such a way that upon stepping into the campus of SMK Fomra Institute Of Technology the students enter into the world of true dreams. SMKFIT is spread over an area of 25 acres of land and has spacious lecture halls, labs, drawing hall, workshop, library, canteen, 7 hostels. All infrastructure facilities in accord with AICTE/ Anna University norms. Some of the facilities offered by SMKFIT are listed below.

Lab
The students get all the essential practical exposure through the modern and well-equipped labs. Some of the labs are

Hostel

• The Institution provides facilities for hostel accommodation for both boys and girls.

• A hygienic kitchen has been provided in each hostel with large dining halls. The rooms are well furnished.
• The college has four ladies hostels accommodating one thousand four hundred and above borders and seven boys hostel with 2500 and borders.
• Both the hostels have round the clock Wi-Fi connectivity and medical facility.
• Proper hygienic condition and strict supervision are maintained throughout.

Transportation

• The college has its dedicated transport for the day scholars, covering the entire city.
• Route plans are chalked out keeping in mind the convenience of the students.
• The institute has deployed twelve medium-sized buses to save time for students commuting to and from the institute.

Canteen

• Shree Motilal Kanhaiyalal Fomra Institute of Technology is equipped with a modern canteen that is operated by the management.
• It provides the students and the faculty with nutritious and hygienic vegetarian food.
• Modern cooking equipment that includes steam boilers for rice and vegetables has been installed to provide wholesome food.
• The college canteen has the capacity to accommodate almost 600 students at any time.
