Shaheed Bhagat Singh College was established in 1967 and is affiliated with the University of Delhi. The college is a NAAC accredited college with an 'A' grade and takes its name from one of India's greatest freedom fighters 'Bhagat Singh'. The college has a completely computerized library catering to all the needs of its students and has upwards of 86,000 books and a large number of journals. The library has a seating capacity of 180 seats. A large number of committees are set up with a faculty in charge and students are encouraged to join different committees based on their interests.
