Infrastructure Facilities at Saroj Mohan Institute of Technology, [SMIT] Hooghly:

Auditorium:

• SMIT has a fully-functional and well-equipped auditorium on campus
• The auditorium has a seating capacity of 410 students
• It is air-conditioned and has audio-visual facilities as well
• The auditorium is used for the cultural programs, lectures, annual function, etc

 Gymnasium:

• Saroj Mohan Institute of Technology has a multi-gym for both boys and girls
• It has equipment like treadmills, cycles and many more
• It also acts as a platform for sports training for both students and faculty

Playground:

• The Institute has 3 playgrounds for the students
• The Institute has facilities for both indoor and outdoor games facilities
• One playground is in front of the building of the institute, the second one is in the centre of the campus and the third one is near the hostel

Wifi Campus:

• The campus of Saroj Mohan Institute of Technology has high-speed internet facility of 4 Mbps
• It offers 24 hrs wifi facility in the campus, hostels, guest house and faculty house

Ambulance Services:

• The Institute offers 24hr ambulance services as well in case of emergencies

Hostel Facilities:

• SMIT provides on-campus hostels to all of its students with all the modern amenities
• The Institute has 4 hostels separately for the first, second, third and fourth year boys
• For girls, there are two separate hostels
• Facilities offered to the hostel residents include - playground, high-speed internet, multi-gym, common room, movie-show in the air-conditioned auditorium, etc
