Entrance Exams & Admissions : The students should have passed the 12th exam with at least 60% marks. There are no entrance exams. However, the IT course is based on the CGPET exam result. There are no cutoffs.

Fees & Scholarships : Rungta College of Engineering and Technology, [RCET] Bhilai Fee Structure. The course fee is about INR 50,000 per year. Merit students get scholarships. Around 100 to120 students get scholarships. 

Academics & Faculty : The classes are from 9:40 to 4:30. The teaching procedure is good for both theory and practical classes. The teachers are approachable and kind.

College Infrastructure & Hostel Facilities : There is a separate hostel for boys and girls. The hostel fee is INR 60,000 per year. The college food is good and healthy. The classrooms, labs, libraries are good.

Clubs & Associations : There are several clubs for different groups like rangmanch for dance and many more. The college cultural fest is called Vyom. College life is good here.
