RGPV Placements 2024: Highest & Average Salary Package, Top Companies

RGPV placements 2024 details have not been released. As per the NIRF report, during the RGPV placement 2023, the median package for B.Tech offered was INR 4.25 LPA. 

During 2022 placements, the RGPV highest package was recorded as INR 44.00 LPA. The highest package in 2022 increased by more than 144%, compared to 2021, and was offered to University Institute of Technology students. 

The BTech median package provided in 2023 increased by more than 6%and the MTech median package offered in 2023 increased by more than 60% when compared to 2022.

Along with final placements, the university also organizes RGPV internship drives for eligible students. The university has signed an MOU with Internshala to provide internship opportunities to students.

RGPV Placement Cell

The university has a Training and Placement cell that plays a crucial role in providing the best job opportunities for students. Providing personal and career-related support for students is one of the main objectives of the RGPV placement cell. The cell also concentrates on training students on employability skills and developing them to meet the industry's needs. The Training and Placement cell also motivates and guides students who are interested in pursuing higher studies. The cell aims to place a maximum number of students through on-campus interviews and also informs students about available job and internship opportunities in government sectors and off-campus drives.

The cell organizes various placement training sessions, skill development sessions, mock interviews, group discussions, etc. to prepare students for final placements. Workshops, Training, and Special certification courses are also organized to make students industry-ready. Seminars, guest lectures, industry-academia meets, etc. are also conducted. The Rajiv Gandhi Proudyogiki Viswavidyalaya placement cell signed various MOUs with companies like REDHAT, CISCO, Internshala, etc., to provide the best placement opportunities for students.

RGPV Placement Process

The central placement cell organizes annual Rajiv Gandhi Proudyogiki Viswavidyalaya campus placements for students of all courses and schools. The step-by-step process for conducting the RGPV final placements is given below.

• The TNP Cell arranges placement drives by inviting prospective companies for the recruitment of graduating students.
• Companies then fill in the Job Announcement Form (JAF)/ Summer Training Form (STF) and submit it to the Placement and Internship Cell.
• Based on mutual convenience, suitable dates for Pre Placement Talks (PPTs) and the recruitment process will be decided.
• Resumes of interested students are then shared with recruiters. Companies have the liberty to shortlist students based on resumes.
• The list of shortlisted students is then mailed to the T&P cell. Shortlisted students are notified and further details regarding the recruitment process will be shared with them.
• Recruiters will visit the campus on scheduled dates and will conduct the selection process.
• Companies then disclose the result of the selection process to the RGPV placement cell. Offer letters are then issued for selected students through the placement cell.
