Parle Tilak Vidyalaya Association’s Sathaye College is a multi-disciplinary college affiliated with the University of Mumbai. It was founded in 1959 by Parle Tilak Vidyalaya as Parle College which was renamed in 1993. The college has the vision to promote an institution of higher learning for the overall development of youth. The college strives to give substance to the vision of its founding fathers. Every year, hundreds of students leave the college equipped not just with a degree but also with life-enhancing skills.
PTVA's Sathaye College offers 20 undergraduate degrees and 6 postgraduate degrees across the disciplines of humanities, sciences, and commerce, as well as various certificate courses. Parle Tilak Vidyalaya Association’s Sathaye College admission organizes various programs to make students aware of the social and political scenarios at local and global levels. The students participate in a variety of social activities which makes them environment conscious and more sensitive, empathetic to the status of different strata of society. The placement cell is visited by various leading companies like T.C.S, Wipro, L&T Infotech, Tech Mahindra, Angel Broking, and many more. It also conducts a training program to increase employability.
PTVA’s Sathaye College offers undergraduate degrees in Science, Humanities, and Commerce. The duration of all courses at the undergraduate level is 3 years. The intake for the undergraduate humanities programs is 360 students, 600 students for the commerce programs, and 360 for the science stream.

Admission to the undergraduate courses at the PTVA’s Sathaye College is granted on the basis of merit. Applicants are required to have passed the 12th standard final examinations and have an interview with the Principal. Students are also required to resubmit an application form at the end of each year to continue into the next academic year.

PTVA’s Sathaye College offers postgraduate degrees in science and humanities. The duration of all courses at the postgraduate level is 2 years. The intake for the MA programs is 60 students each, 40 students for B.Sc. IT program, and 10 students each for M.Sc Chemistry and Botany.

Though I am in OBC category still my marks were sufficient for being opted as open category student. There are no entrance exams for Jc admission and typical cutoff is above 90% for first list in open category.

There were no such eligibility criteria for my course and admission procedure only first class marks in hsc boards No entrance examination No cutoffs.

You need an HSC passing certificate and few identity proof certificates. The cutoffs are different based on different colleges.
