Parle Tilak Vidyalaya Association’s Sathaye College is a multi-disciplinary college affiliated with the University of Mumbai. It was founded in 1959 by Parle Tilak Vidyalaya as Parle College which was renamed in 1993. The college has the vision to promote an institution of higher learning for the overall development of youth. The college strives to give substance to the vision of its founding fathers. PTVA’s Sathaye College offers undergraduate degrees in Science, Humanities, and Commerce. The duration of all courses at the undergraduate level is 3 years. The intake for the undergraduate humanities programs is 360 students, 600 students for the commerce programs, and 360 for the science stream.

PTVA's Sathaye College PG Admission 2024

PTVA’s Sathaye College offers postgraduate degrees in science and humanities. The duration of all courses at the postgraduate level is 2 years. The intake for the MA programs is 60 students each, 40 students for B.Sc. IT program, and 10 students each for M.Sc Chemistry and Botany.

PTVA's Sathaye College Application Form 2024

Admission to the various courses is done through the application form. They have to login by creating a username and supplying details like mobile no., mother's name, Aadhar no., and date of birth. Admission fees are according to the PTVASC fee structure

  • Students seeking admission should apply in person during the hours notified for the purpose.
  • Every student has to affix his/ her photograph on the admission form.
  • A student seeking admission to the college shall have to person himself/ herself along with an application in the prescribed form duly filled in and signed by him/ her and by his/ her parent/guardian, for an interview with the Principal. No admission shall be regarded as duly granted unless it is granted by the authority of the Principal and the necessary fees have been received by the college.
  • All admissions are valid only for one academic year and are required to be renewed by application in the prescribed form for every subsequent year of study in the college.
