B.Tech [Bachelor of Technology] Details

PES University B.Tech course offers 6 specialisations across disciplines such as Mechanical and Biotechnology Engineering. These courses are offered in different formats, and students can also opt for integrated courses with M.Tech or MBA.

Admission to these courses is based on the JEE Main/KCET/PESSAT scores. Upon the counselling, the seats are allocated to students at PES University. JEE Main Session 2's result was announced on April 28, 2023. KCET examination results will be declared on June 12, 2023, and PESSAT on June 08, 2023.

PES University B.Tech Eligibility Criteria

PES University B.Tech's eligibility criteria are 50% in PCM in 10+2 from a recognised board. However, the eligibility criteria may differ for students applying for certain specialisations. PES University will also consider the JEE Main/KCET/PESSAT scores for admission purposes. 

PES University B.Tech Admission

Admission to the PES University BTech course based on the PESSAT scores. However, students with merit scores in JEE Main/KCET can also apply for admission to PES University B.Tech. 

Application Procedure

Students seeking admission to PES University must apply through the official website. When the application portal opens, students can apply for PESSAT and appear for the entrance exam. Based on the scores, the seat is allotted to students. The process to apply is given here:

• Visit the official website of PESSAT
• Click on the “Admission Tab” 
• Select the course of choice
• Fill in the registration form with the details required
• Pay the application fee of INR 1150
• Upload the required documents
• Submit the application form

Students who have appeared in JEE Main/KCET can apply for direct admission based on their scores. 

Entrance Exams

Admission to PES University B.Tech is made through JEE Main, KCET and PESSAT.

Documents Required

At the time of admission, students are required to present a few important documents. The list of these documents is given below. 

• Marksheet and Certificate of 10th and 12th.
• JEE Main/KCET/PESSAT mark sheet.
• Migration certificate in case of students coming from other boards from other states.
• Transfer certificate

• Photo id proof such as Adhaar Card

The PES University B.Tech fee has been updated for this new session, and the fees for the course start at 4.6 Lakhs, which includes the tuition fee and one-time non-refundable administration charge. The fee differs with different specialisations.
