Facilities :-

Classrooms

The College has more than thirty classrooms of different sizes including one hall for large population of students.

All the classrooms are equipped well with light, fan, black or green board. Some of the classrooms have provision

for teaching-learning activity using Over Head Projector, laptop and LCD projector.

Digital Classrooms

The College has four Digital Class Rooms which are equipped with Laptop, LCD Projector, special interactive

screen and softwares & arrangement for visual exhibition of hard copies. Teachers from several disciplines use

these class rooms and students enjoy learning lessons in these special technology enabled arrangement.

College has a plan to equipped these rooms though Wi-Fi connectivity.

Computer Centre

The College has a Computer Centre dedicated to the students for studying, preparing study materials, typing and

also for browsing on the net.

Computer and Internet

Computer Facility: College office and library is fully computerized for their all types of activities.  All the

departments have at least one computer for used by the teachers and students

Internet: College has broadband internet facilities in the office, library, computer centre and in all the departments.

Students can avail of that facility when accompanied by a teacher.

Computer Laboratory

The Mathematics department has a Computer Laboratory equipped with advanced machines and necessary

softwares for students studying Honours programmes. The laboratory has been upgraded recently.

Language Laboratory

For the students of the Communicative and Functional English there is one Language Laboratory equipped with

computers, hearing aids and related softwares.

Library

Central Library: The College has a central library that housed learning resources like text and reference books in

the existing subjects and courses, daily news papers, several magazines and journals, question bank and

modules. The library is computerized for its resource management and lending activity. The cool and quiet

ambient in the library attract teachers and students for in-house reading.

Student are issued Library card that help them borrow books for home and for in house reading.

To help students get through competitive examination, the Career Development Cell of the College has also

housed relevant gazettes, magazines and news papers in the central library.

Library of the Remedial Course: In addition to the central library there is another library dedicated to the students

participating in Remedial Courses. It has some books in relevant subjects for in-house reading as well as for

borrowing by the students. Students are supplied with photocopies of interesting notes and reading materials from

this library.

Seminar Hall

The College has one seminar hall equipped with laptop, LCD-projector, audio system where seminar and large

meetings are organized.

Auditorium

The College has an Auditorium to organize big events like conference, cultural functions, Freshers’ Welcome etc.

It has seat a big high-dias and capacity for two hundreds participants.

Generators

To provide uninterrupted supply of power the College has installed one 5KW ordinary and one KW green

generators. Depending upon the power loads required they are operated accordingly.

Drinking water

College has two cooler cum water purifiers and three water purifiers installed at different locations.

Parking

College has three parking sheds for bicycles and motor cycles of the students and staff. Parking shed inside the

College campus is meant only for girls’ students. In addition to that there is plenty of open space for parking

vehicle inside the main gate but outside of the main gated campus.
