The applicants are expected to have passed [10+2] exam conducted by the central board of secondary education or any of its state equivalents with a minimum aggregate of 50% of marks overall along with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics mandatory subjects from any recognized university/institution.
An aggregate marks relaxation of 5% is allowed for the SC/ST candidates.
Streams under B.Tech:
Candidates can avail themselves an admission into the institution by appearing for MHTCET(Maharashtra State Students only) and/or JEE(Mains) entrance exams.

The MHTCET(Maharashtra Health and Technical Common Entrance Test) is a state board run entrance test for the students of the state of Maharashtra and JEE(Mains) is an all India level entrance exam for the admission of the students into the course of B.Tech across the country.
The candidates seeking admission into the institution is that he/she should have qualified the eligibility criteria set by the institution as well as the entrance exam board.
After this, once the candidates appear for the entrance test and attain a certain score they will be allotted a rank based on their merit.The candidates have to go through the concerned counseling process and if allocated a seat in the institution, the candidates are expected to lock in or report back to the institution respectively.
After this, the candidates can be taken through further rounds including group discussions and personal interview.
The candidates can also get an admission into the institution by the institute quota(management quota) if any seats remain unallocated.
After Completing my Hsc exams in 2014, i applied for Civil Engineering in Dr. DYPIEMR through cap round and was able to crack the cutoff to get admitted in this college as my Hsc score was 72.46% with 54 marks in JEE
Admissions are depended on how much score you get in CET (common entrance test) our college cut off is near about 98 out of 200 for open category students.
The eligibility criteria was based on the CAP rounds. I had to appear JEE and 12th science along with pcm. The typical cuts are comparatively quite high.
There are eligibility criteria of 35 percentile and admission through cap round JEE is the entrance exam I have given. And cutoff is 45 percentile.
A student should have a minimum of 50% marks in his/her 12th Board. One also has to write and qualify MAH CET entrance exam to get the admission.
The student should complete HSC with PCB group and the entrance exam that should be taken up is the JEE MAIN examination.
Eligiblity criteria and admission process is through the MHT CET For civil engineering the cut off is up to 120.
The eligibility criteria is to get 65% or above in 12th-grade.
For admission in the college you have to clear the MHT CET exam. Cutoff for the college is upto 130.
