Osmania University College for Women was established in 1924. University College for Women is a constituent college of Osmania University, with autonomous status since 1989. It is accredited ‘Five Stars’ in the first cycle and ‘A’ Grade in the next two cycles of NAAC. The College being autonomous offers various combinations of Undergraduate Courses (regular and self-finance programs) under BA, BSc (Physical and Biological Sciences) and BCom, and 13 Post Graduate Programmes along with four Diploma and two Certificate Courses. The college has 5 Faculties: Arts, Social Science, Commerce, Science and Management. The College has highly qualified teachers with 95 Ph.D. holders, 36 NET/SET qualified teachers with a lot of experience and research publications to their credit.
