North-Eastern Hill University has a counseling and placement cell that works on getting the industry's best companies to come to the college for recruitments. The cell is responsible for conducting practice interviews, aptitude sessions, workshops, and seminars. The university has tie-ups with various companies and is frequently visited by them for training and workshops.

North-Eastern Hill University Internship

The department of management studies provides winter internship opportunities for the students. The duration of the internship is eight weeks. The placement cell conducts internship and final placements.
