NIMAS Infrastructure: Library, Cafeteria & Other Facilities

NIMAS Kolkata has one of the best infrastructure facilities.The campus landscape is and has always been central to the identity of NIMAS Barasat and to the experience of its students. The Campus has a marked individual character not found in too many Institutes in West Bengal. Students have the freedom of studying in a midst of intricate beauty and greenery spread over 0,5 acres and surrounded by picturesque landscape.

The facilities are designed in a way to provide ease and comfort to the students and contribute to their holistic development. Some of NIMAS Kolkata Facilities are Labs, Library, Cafeteria and among other things for the students. Front Office

• Front Office studies cannot be completed without extensive lab sessions.
• Front Office Lab is well equipped with all modern accessories ranging from front desk, telephone, hands-free reservations, Whitney rack, bell desk, computer terminals with IDS Fortune Enterprise version, aiming to create tomorrow's leaders.

Housekeeping Lab

• Housekeeping lab is equipped with the most modern equipment like the Wet & Dry Vacuum Cleaner, Washing Machine, Steam Press, Maid's Trolley, and Linen Basket Trolley etc.
• The department has one Model Guest rooms i.e. Suite room, Double room, Twin room where the students can do the practical training.
• The Department also consists of a Laundry-Linen room and Housekeeping Lab.

Food Production Lab

• NIMAS has 3 massive Food Production Labs or Kitchens. All Kitchens are designed in such a way that each student of a class can do individual practical things
• NIMAS has a Basic Training Kitchen, a Quantity Training Kitchen, an Advanced Training Kitchen, a Patisserie and Confectionery Lab and a Larder Kitchen. We also have a show kitchen which is used for demonstrations.
• NIMAS Kolkata has all  kinds of basic tools & equipment that are there to demonstrate to the students. It is fitted with Audio Visual aids.

Well Equipped Trainning Labs

• NIMAS Kolkata has its own F & B lab with 1 basic Training Restaurant, 1 Bakery Lab, 1 advanced Training Restaurant with bar, Cafeteria/ Fast Food Restaurant with 100 seating capacity, Optometry Lab, Biochemistry Lab.
• F & B Service lab is equipped with all the amenities which assist the students during their practical classes.

Computer Labs

• NIMAS Kolkata has 2 large computer labs with 30 terminals with internet facilities and necessary software.

Language Labs

• Language & communication is a very important component of learning in the hospitality sector. NIMAS Kolkata is equipped with a state-of-the-art language lab. 
• Students are trained with the help of appropriate software to cope with aptitude tests, group discussions and personality development with strong focus on phonetics, accent and listening, speaking and presentation.

Cafeteria

• NIMAS Kolkata canteen provides food, both regular and fancy, available at affordable rates.
• NIMAS Kolkata provides healthy, nutritious meals at affordable rates to students.

Sports Facilities

• NIMAS Kolkata  has a huge playground for various sport activities like cricket, football and badminton.
