Consultancies- Morgan Stanley, JPMorgan Chase, TCS, Goldman Sachs Avg salaries for software guys are 10-12lakhs/yr Avg salary for the core are 6-7lakhs/yr. Electrical batch placement is more than 65% on avg. CS and IT placement is more than 70%.

Entrance Exams & Admissions : To get admission at MNNIT Allahabad, you need to give jee mains and then get the branch if your marks above the cutoff. I gave jee mains in 2015 and scored 221/360. The typical cutoff is above 190 in general and OBC, and 140 above for other categories.

Fees & Scholarships : The course fee is about 1.5 lakhs per year. Students get the stipend from their respective state government or national scholarships. Category students get scholarships and whose family income is less than 4-5 lakhs per yr. Though loans are not needed, still if you need it we have Vijaya Bank in the campus which makes the job easier.

Academics & Faculty : Classes are from 8 am to 5 pm. Practicals are always from 10 to 1 or 2 to 5. Assignments are given after the end of a chapter. There are one mid sem and one end sem in a semester. Quality of teaching is good and they teach on projectors or blackboard. It feels good to be part of such a prestigious institute.

College Infrastructure & Hostel Facilities : There are 6 boys and 1 girls hostel.For First year students, there is one SVBH hostel which is three seater room hostel. From 2nd year onwards you get either Tagore hostel(4 tier rooms) or the rest which is 2 tier rooms. Girls get 2 tier rooms. Hostels have high-speed LAN connectivity with DC++. Hostel fee is included in the course fee which is total 45000 per sem. Mess fee is 13000 per sem.Food is of good quality.There is a separate mess committee of students. Institute has an administrative building, academic building, central library, mp hall, gym, playground, LABS.

Clubs & Associations : Various clubs of college are robotics club, aeromodelling club, dramatics club, gnosis quizzing guys, computer classes for awesome coders. There is a student activity centre which coordinates student-related activities in college. Avishkar is the tech fest. Culrav is the annual cultural fest. Rennaisance is regarding entrepreneurship. There is also Annual Athletics Meetup. Life at the college is balanced between academics and extracurricular activities. You get ample opportunity to learn new things and grow as an engineer.
