Placement Cell :-Placement is a valuable opportunity for there students to integrate relevant, practical work with academic study. Seen as integral to the students’ degree, the placement is supervised, monitored and assessed accordingly. In today’s competitive job market, work experience gives graduates something extra. The skills a student develops on placement like communication, time and project management, problem solving, team working etc. are invaluable assets when beginning a graduate career. Ever since its inception, the Placement Cell has created its impression by striking a right balance between academics and industry.It strongly believes in the adage, “Nothing less than the industry best”. Its constant endeavour in preparing its graduating engineers and in the field of technology has been an epitome of success over a period of time. The placement cell, guided by a Professor is committed to provide the young techies for a successful career In the industry of their choice. Having proved its mettle in providing talented professionals as per the needs of the various sectors, the cell provides a well developed holistic training in order to upgrade the students' technical, aptitude as well as communication skills on a regular basis to make them “corporate ready”.
Activities:- Students Council: The activities is divided into Cultural, Games and Science & Technology. The President heads the student body, followed by secretaries which head the individual clubs. Academic Council: The basic motive behind the council is to ensure that there is a creative atmosphere which facilitates the coming up of both innovative solutions and ideas either for problems which stand as challenges or just in the spirit of science. It functions with English and Hindi Literary Societies & Quiz Clubs. Sports Council: Techno Cup and SWAT Cup are the major annual events of sports council. Techno Cup is a cricket tournament which is played almost for one week. In this event all classes of the department takes part including team of teachers. The eternal love among both students and staff can be sensed in the Techno Cup organized in the month of February for sports. SWAT (Soccer With Attitude): It is the football tournament that is organized in September. Besides this major event there are several events such as table tennis, badminton, volleyball, athletics and also some indoor games like chess, carom etc. It is 3-day event in September-October. There are not many opportunities here but you can get internships on your own like My team won in the robotics competition in IIT Bombay and got the privilege for doing an internship at IIT Bombay in Robotics and also got the stipend for that. That was a really a great experience. Also if you choose Electronics and Communications branch then you will get a chance to do an internship in DRDO, Bangalore and civil aviation Airport authority, Allahabad centre during your 6th semester of your course. I did an internship at DRDO Banglore for about 45 days.
On campus, Placements are not very tempting here but you can always go for off campus placements if you have skills. Only TCS recruits most of the students and few are taken by companies like EXL, ICON etc. In total not more than 3-4 companies visit the campus for recruitment.
