Mangalore University houses various modern facilities. The campus sprawls over 333 acres, overlooking the confluence of the river Nethravathi with the Arabian sea on one side and the cloud-capped western ghats on the other. More details regarding the Mangalore University campus are given below.

Library: The library has 2,24,085 books and 23,085 back volumes, reports, theses, and other materials, covering a wide range of subjects. It houses roughly 247 academic and general interest periodicals covering various topics. The Mangalore University library has access to 7042+ full-text journals in electronic form from 14 UGC-INFONET databases and 58000+ full-text journals from the J-Gate database.

Computer Centre: The computer centre is well-equipped with a computer system environment and is staffed by skilled specialists. It is upgraded regularly to ensure that it has the best computational infrastructure.

Day Care Centre: A daycare centre is offered on a payment basis for children aged two to six years when their parents are away from home during the day. It is located in a secure location away from potential threats such as traffic, stairwells, and lifts. It has colourful displays, play materials, a blackboard, a television, and a DVD player to create a child-friendly environment. Apart from guided activities such as prayer, action songs, and storytelling, children can play on their own.

Sports Facilities

• The Mangalore University infrastructure has a 400-meter standard track, football, hockey, cricket fields, kho-kho, kabaddi, basketball, tennis, handball, and other playgrounds.
• It also offers an indoor sports complex that meets international fitness standards.
• Mangalore University has an air-conditioned hall that can also be used for conferences, workshops, meetings, and sports activities such as table tennis, wrestling, gymnastics, and other sports.

Health Centre: The Mangalore University facilities include a health centre where blood and urine tests are performed as directed by the doctor. It provides excellent and timely treatment to students, teaching, non-teaching staff members, and dependents. In addition to disease treatment, the centre offers emergency treatment, counselling, and laboratory services. 

Hostel: The hostel operates a 24-hour security system with well-lit premises and well-equipped personnel. A clean and hygienic vegetarian mess facility is available from breakfast to dinner. Aquaguard water filters provide safe drinking water. The Mangalore University hostel has solar water heaters. Power generator backup facility in the mess to ensure uninterrupted power supply. A reading room is available where students can do extracurricular activities and relax. For the occasional stay of parents and men faculty, furnished guest rooms are available.
