Eligibility Criteria for BA:

The students who apply to Madras Christian College should be passed in the Tamil Nadu Higher Secondary or an equivalent examination by a recognized board.

The upper age limit for admission to UG courses will be 21 years as on 1st July of the year of Admission. A 5 years relaxation is permitted for differently abled and 3 years for women students.
- The students who are applying for BA (Economics) should have preferably taken Mathematics at the Higher Secondary level for admission to Madras Christian College, Chennai.
Admission Procedure:

The Applicants selected for admission will be notified through the Mobile number and the E-mail ID given in their application form.

The list of the selected students for all the courses will also be displayed on the College Notice Board and on the Madras Christian College, Chennai Website.

Admission card will be sent to the registered E-mail ID.

Admission date for the selected candidates will be sent through E-mail, SMS and it will be displayed on the College notice board and on the College website.
- The students who get the Admission card can pay the fees.

For Hostel accommodation, the student should submit a separate application to the Dean of Students Affairs (DSA) for (Hostel) accommodation after being admitted in the course by paying the prescribed fees.

The college does not accept any kind of donation for admission. If anyone promises a student's admission on payment of donation in cash or kind, it must be brought to the Principal's notice immediately, if not, it will lead to cancellation of admission.
