The committee's primary focus includes organizing summer and final placements on campus, establishing and maintaining relationships with companies through various channels such as mail, telephone, and visits, managing and analyzing placement data, effectively communicating placement information to students, engaging in communication and meetings with company officials, and handling the preparation of reports and documentation. The entire placement process is monitored and guided by key figures within the committee, namely the Chair-placements, Advisor-placement, and Manager-Placements. Furthermore, the Father Director of LIBA Chennai assumes a pivotal role in providing directions, and his decisions are considered final.

LIBA Chennai Placement Process

The LIBA Chennai placement cell organizes the summer and final placements. The step-by-step process of conducting summer and final placements is shown below.

• Pre-Placement Talks (PPTs) are organized by companies. PPTs give students an insight into the roles offered and the culture of the company.
• Interested students will apply for the company’s selection process.
• Then the company will shortlist students based on their resumes.
• Companies will conduct the selection process on campus during the institute’s placement week.
• Companies will issue the offer letter to students who have cleared the selection process.
• Selected students will intern during the summer.
• Students who have accepted the final placement offer letter will join the company post-March.
