Loyola-ICAM College of Engineering and Technology, [LICET] Chennai was established in 2010 and it is approved by AICTE. LICET is affiliated to Anna University, which is situated in the heart of Chennai City. LICET is an ISO 9001:2008 certified Institution and it is recognized by the government of Tamilnadu. LICET is the only institution founded and managed by the Jesuits of Tamilnadu and in which it offers 5 branches [ME, ECE, EEE, CSE and IT] of engineering with the intake of 120 students in ME and 60 students in all the other departments. The total intake of the students is 360.

• ONGC educational Support to SC/ ST candidates is arranged. Each candidate is given a scholarship based on their economic status.

• The training and placement cell prepares the candidates to face campus interviews by arranging training in Aptitude tests, group discussions, preparing for Technical and HR interviews through professional trainers and LICET alumni.
• To promote career counselling, The cell organises guidance lectures by senior corporate personnel and most importantly by the immediately placed senior students.
• The college has signed MoU’s with Training agencies like FACE, CAREER LAUNCHER EDUCATE and T.I.M.E to give Aptitude and soft skills training, Group Discussion and Personal Interview.

LICET Eligibility Criteria:

LICET Admissions:

• Students can apply for admissions online on the official website of Loyola-ICAM College of Engineering and Technology, [LICET] Chennai.
• 50% of the admission is through the single window counselling of Anna University.
• The remaining 50% i.e,180 seats are for the management quota, will be decided by the Admission Core Committee.
• LICET follows the engineering cut-off as per the Anna University Counseling, as the basis for ranking the +2 marks. Mathematics out of 100, Physics out of 50, Chemistry out of 50 and Total Cut-off out of 200.
• For lateral entry admissions, 50% of the admissions are done through Dote Counselling and the remaining 50% in management quota, the last two semester marks of polytechnic will be taken into account to get a percentage.

LICET Hostel Details:

• The College provides separate hostels for boys and girls with well furnishes rooms and modern amenities.
• Well maintained kitchen and spacious dining area have been provided for both the boys' hostel and girls hostel. 
• Accommodation is provided for all outstation students [For Boys], inside the campus.
• Accommodation for outstation 2nd, 3rd and 4th-year girls would be provided at Loyola Women Hostel, inside Loyola campus.
• Since the Women’s Hostel has a limited number of rooms, the college management has made arrangements with the nearby Servite Sisters Women’s Hostel to accommodate the 1st year students in which it is just outside the college campus.
• Loyola Engineering College Infrastructure includes all the facilities like the library, labs, gym, cafeteria, etc.
