EDUSAT in KITM 

The ministry of Human Resource Development (M.H.R.D) in collaboration with the Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO), has launched a major project in September 2004 for enabling satellite communication network for supporting extensive outreach of quality education at all levels through the EDUSAT, a dedicated satellite for education

The first meeting of the state level core Committee for EDUSAT was held on 22nd September 2005. WBUT is associated with this project from the beginning. WBUT has subscribed 3.75 crores for installation of SIT (Satellite Interactive Terminal) at few college premises; KITM is one of them. WBUT teaching End and SITs will use the regional hub of (of Eastern Spot Beam) of Roopkala Kendra for transmission of classes that will be organized at WBUT teaching end. Students of Kotibarsha Institute of Technology & Management will be able to participate in those classes/seminars in interactive manner. 

Computer Lab 

The Modern computer lab is equipped with the latest computers with broadband internet connection to support the BBA, BCA & BHSM programmes. The college also performs various computers /IT related consultancy assignments from the outside. This impart practical experience to the students while executive such projects on computer. 

BHSM Laboratory 

There are three lab kitchen and bakery that are carefully designed to meet the specialized training needs of our students. All of our facilities are equipped with industry standard equipment. The Front Office training Lab is used for training students in all operational aspects of the Front Office. This includes Room Reservation, Registration, Guest Relations, Telephones, Cashiering, Guest Accounting; Revenue Management etc.The College has installed Software like Fidelio for computerized Front- Office operations.

Library 

KITM has own library within the college building & is equipped with the most up-to-date books and reading materials to satisfy the needs of the students. There are many periodicals, which include newspapers, magazines and journals some of them are Computers today’s, Digits, Indian today, Business Week etc. 

Class Room 

The College – Kotibarsha Institute Of Technology and Management has well designed (400 SQF / 500 SQF / 600 SQF / 700 SQF / 800 SQF ) specious class rooms with the essential teaching Aids like projectors – slide projectors for the use of faculty members, visiting lectures & students.
