KIMS Application Form

For admission to the UG and PG courses at Kempegowda Institute of Medical Sciences, Bangalore, candidates have to apply through the college office. The application form will be available in the college admission office.

  • Purchase the application form by paying INR 500/-.
  • Fill the application form with the required information.
  • Attach a photocopy of the required documents with the application form and submit it.

KIMS Admission Fee

Admitted students have to pay Admission fees, tuition fees, and other fees at the time of admission. The Fee is different for Government Quota / Private Quota  / Management or NRI Quota. As per the KIMS fees structure, students admitted in Management / NRI Quota have to pay an additional fee for the first year MBBS, MD and MS courses.

  • For MBBS courses, students under the Government quota have to pay INR 1,67,953/- 
  • NRI / Management candidates have to pay an additional fee INR 2,00,000/- for first-year MBBS courses.
  • For PG courses, NRI / Management candidates have to pay an additional fee INR 2,35,000/- for the first year.
  • Candidates selected by the COMED-K basis, have to pay INR 1,09,768/- annually for PG Pre Clinical courses.
  • For PG Paramedical courses, Government quota candidates have to pay INR 1,45,475/-

Entrance Exams Accepted by KIMS

The KIMS College admission is based on the of NEET /  PGET / COMED-K marks respect to the courses. The admission committee will prepare a merit list based on the Entrance examination score. The admission will be based on the performance in respective entrance examinations.

  • MBBS admission will be based on the NEET score.
  • For admission to the PG, courses candidates should have a valid score in COMED-K or the PGET conducted by the Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences (RGUHS).
  • Candidates can fill the PGET application form on the RGUHS PGET portal.

KIMS MBBS Admission 2021

The college has a total of 150 intakes in the MBBS course. Among the total number of seats, 60 seats are reserved for Government quota, 60 seats for Private quota and 30 seats for Management / NRI candidates. The admission will be based on the PGET conducted by the RGUHS or COMED-K.

KIMS MBBS Eligibility

To apply for the MBBS courses candidates should pass Pre University (PU) Education or 10 + 2 with Physics, Chemistry and Biology as optional subjects or any other examination recognized as equivalent to the Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Bangalore or BSc examination with not less than three of the following subjects: Physics, Chemistry, Botany, and Zoology from Bangalore University or any other statutory University. Candidates should have secured not less than 50% of the total marks in Science subjects taken altogether at the qualifying examination and NEET.
