Way back in 2015, there was no procedure of giving entrance exam to apply for an undergraduate course. Students then had to apply for admission to their particular course according to their cutoff percentage. Things have changed after a gap of 3 years, for students now have to first sit for entrance exam & then only they will be selected for their favorite course they wish to apply for. As for eligibility criteria, all passed out 12th students had to provide certain documents verification during admission time. Nowadays the usual cutoffs for political science have raised from 85â„… (in 2015) to 95â„… (recent time period).
As we know DU have too much high Cutoff! Because of that, we can't get our dream college and course! It's especially for general students! Still, I got the Kalindi college after getting 84%. The college campus is very big! But the canteen food is too unhygienic and the toilets are also not cleaned! There are many things that are somehow not good in college and some are good also!
The Admission Procedure at Kalindi College, Delhi University is as follows:
You need at least 45% in 12th. then you may get admission in skt. Hons. In Kalindi college. first of all, you have to fill the DU form. Then according to cut off, you may get admission, in that college where your name will be on the list. There are nothing typical cutoffs for my course.
Kalindi college for me is a blend of everything. I entered this college with the cut off the system and got admission into English honors course. The department of English is pretty good, they have good teachers but on the front side, they need to keep the canteen area clean.
The admissions are based on the percentage you acquired in boards. I was admitted to the college in the year 2015, at that time the first cut off was around 84%. The percentage is calculated according to the marks of Physics, Maths and Chemistry/Computer science.
The admission process is very simple. Every year cutoff list is presented by the college under their rules and regulations. Every course has a different cutoff list and it changes every year. There is no entrance examination for the admission.
