About Placement Department of Placement facilitates placements by actively reaching out to the Corporate World. The Department achieves this objective by having a targeted approach towards the three major stakeholders in the placement process i.e. the Students, the Companies and the college. The Training & Placement Cell plays a crucial role in scouting for and locating job opportunities for the young graduates and post graduates passing out from the college by keeping liaison with reputed firms and industrial establishments. It functions under the supervision of a full time Training and Placement Officer. The placement cell operates round the year to facilitate contacts between companies and graduates. The number of students who are placed through the campus placements is continuously rising. On invitation, many reputed industries visit the institute to conduct campus interviews. The Department of training and placement is headed by Prof P.Yuvaraman M.B.A., MPhil., Ph.D. This department interacts with reputed organizations all over the country for arranging campus interviews for the placement of final year students. LIBRARY The College Library established in the year 1997, was housed in a classroom with 700 books to start with. In 1999 when the college was shifted to its permanent building, the library occupied a lecture hall in the first floor of the main building. In 2000, it was shifted to the present building named “CENTRAL LIBRARY” in honour of the founder Chairman. The library buildings were extended from 5 sections to 12 various sections with discussion rooms, modern furniture, and air conditioning. The new building includes a separate hall for Tele conferencing, through which, current awareness programs and information services today can be disseminated throughout the world. The Library transactions are carried out by Bar Code Technology. It has the facility of Web OPAC-online search. So the library catalogue can be accessed through intranet, in future through internet. And the library is being subscribed to the E-resources. Also, the library has 57 Digital surveillance cameras for the proper vigilance of the library holdings and to avoid misbehaviors (misplacement, tearing etc) of the users. Students can attend the campus placements from the 6 semester onwards and by the year of their completion companies will be visiting for recruitment. The average package was 4 to 5 lakh per annum and nearly 80% of students will be placed. Students can join this college as teaching is good and they can get good training for placement.
