The applicants should have passed [10+2] exam conducted by the central board or any of its state board equivalents with a minimum of 45% of marks along with Physics, Mathematics, and Chemistry/Biotechnology as mandatory subjects.
All the SC/ST candidates will have 5% of marks relaxation on the minimum aggregate.
Streams under B.Tech:
All the candidates seeking admission into the institution for the above post graduation courses should be a graduate with a bachelor's degree in Science or Engineering discipline obtained through the 10+2+3 system or an equivalent qualification with a minimum aggregate of 55% or equivalent CGPA of any of the Universities incorporated by an act of the central or state legislature in India.
A Relaxation of 5% of marks on the minimum aggregate is allowed for SC/ST candidates.

Jawaharlal Nehru National College Of Engineering offers four-year B.E. in seven specializations. Candidates who have passed 12th in Physics, Mathematics, and Chemistry (Biology/ Biotechnology/ Electronics/ Biology) with minimum 45% aggregate marks (40% for SC/ ST/ OBC category candidates) are considered eligible to get admission in B.E. course. Selection of the candidates for admission is done on the basis of their merit in Common Entrance Test (CET) conducted by Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA). KCET-2012, I Scored 10717 rank. I have selected this college because it had a reputed name and it is in my city. I was interested in mechanical engineering so I joined this course.

To join JNNCE, one has to have a minimum of 50% aggregate in their 12/PUC. Admissions are made based on Govt. conducted exams such as CET and COMEDK, or even management seats are also available. Visiting the college would give you a much clearer idea about the college fee structure.

A student should have passed his/her 12th Board with the good marks. Students have to write KCET and COMEDK UGET entrance exam. A student should get ranks below 1,400 to get enrolled here.
