Indian School of Business and Finance, [ISBF] New Delhi was found in the year 2006 with the vision of delivering world-class education in India. It offers five undergraduate programs with all academic directions from the London School of Economics (LSE) and the degree is conferred by University of London (UOL). Since there is complete parity of curriculum and assessments with what is followed internally at LSE, which is ranked among the top ten in the world for Economics, Management as well as Finance, and it offers a Bachelor of Business Management program in collaboration with Kingston University. ISBF students stand to receive a Global Top 10 education by pursuing these programs. Indian School of Business and Finance Admission is offered in business, commerce, finance, and related fields. 

Affiliations:

Since its inception, ISBF has been affiliated with the University of London and the London School of Economics, achieving the highest recognition status in 2009 and maintaining that to date. The final undergraduate degrees for the programs are awarded by the University of London – these bear the UOL logo and the signature of its Vice-Chancellor and also indicate LSE as the examining body. On a different note, the UOL undergraduate degrees have been granted equivalence with the undergraduate degrees awarded by Indian universities such as the University of Delhi, the University of Mumbai, and the University of Calcutta. With effect from 2021, ISBF is also a partner institution of Kingston University London. 

ISBF undergraduate and graduate programs are taught under the academic direction of LSE. The students of ISBF have the prerogative of using the study material and online resources designed by the educators at the LSE.

Owing to their application-oriented education and extensive upskilling in areas like MS Excel, other software, aptitude test-taking, resume-writing and interviewing, ISBF graduates choosing to work immediately after college have been selected by globally renowned organisations such as McKinsey, Bain&Co, PwC, EY and Pepsico, across a wide range of sectors. Many students have also been placed with Fortune 500 firms like Morgan Stanley, UBS and HSBC, in London or New York, for year-long stints. These top-tier companies visit the campus every year for ISBF Placement

  • The Career Services Division [CSD] at the College assists the students in navigating the highly competitive employment landscape.
  • The employability of the students is improved with regular sessions, workshops, written tests, group discussions, and interviews.
  • Students of the Institute are allowed to gain international work experience through international work placements in New York and London.
  • The CSD also helps undergraduate students to find relevant summer internships.

ISBF Scholarships:

Scholarships are offered across all years of study. Details of ISBF scholarships available to students, LSE, and UOL scholarships are given below.

At the time of admission:

  • ISBF Scholarship: This is available at the time of admission, i.e. for the first year of study, and can continue for the second and third year, subject to the scholar maintaining a stipulated level of academic performance. It comprises a waiver of
    up to 100% of the ISBF Tuition Fee. It is awarded on the basis of merit, as measured by the candidate’s performance in the iMET and PI, and financial need. Only candidates who hold an offer of admission from ISBF may apply for this scholarship. However, since the application deadline for this scholarship is generally quite soon after the admission decision notification date, candidates are advised to keep their scholarship applications ready in advance.
  • The Power of Why Scholarship: Three scholarships - worth 100%, 50% and 50% of the ISBF Tuition Fee are awarded each year to the winners
    of The Power of Why Challenge. This scholarship continues in the second and third years of study, subject to the scholar maintaining a stipulated level of academic performance.

After admission:

  • University of London (UoL) Achievement Award: These scholarships are awarded by the University of London every year, to students of The University of London programs in the Indian subcontinent. They comprise waivers of up to 100 per cent of the University of London's tuition fees in the second and third year of study. The merit for these awards is determined on the basis of a student's performance in the LSE examinations at the end of the first year of study at ISBF. As a result, these awards are only available to continuing ISBF students (i.e. they are not available at the time of admission). There is no application process for these awards; they are directly notified and awarded by the
    The University of London.
  • LSE Summer School Scholarship: These scholarships are awarded to two ISBF students every year, and cover in full the costs of attending a
    3-week LSE Summer School program, in London, with students from around the world. The merit for these awards is determined on the basis of a student's academic performance at ISBF (internal assessments and the year-end LSE examinations), as well as other contributions to college life at ISBF. As a result, these awards are only available to continuing ISBF students, i.e. students who have completed their first or second years of study. The application process for these awards is notified to ISBF students in the course of the academic session.

ISBF is a college, not a university of degree-awarding body, hence it does not feature in global rankings. Indian School of Business and Finance Hostel Details:

ISBF Residential Accommodation (ISRA) provides separate accommodation facilities for girls and boys, which are a short walk
away from the campus. Both the campus and the hostels are located in a central, secure and student-friendly part of the city of New
Delhi and are well-connected by all modes of public transport, including the Delhi metro.

  • The Institute offers hostel accommodation on a first-come-first-serve basis.
  • Separate hostels are available for boys and girls with a limited number of seats. 
  • The accommodation facility is 2 km away from the campus.
  • Hostel rooms are spacious, modern, well-lit, and fully-furnished with washrooms.
  • The following facilities are provided on a shared basis in the hostel campus:
