Additional Details for Indian Institute of Technology, [IIT] Gandhinagar:

• The students are admitted only through JEE Main
• Candidates should have completed 10+2 from a recognized board with at least 60% marks with PCM.
• The total fees for the first semester are INR 1,34,000 [INR 34,000 for SC/ST/PwD students with at least 40% disability], which includes admission-processing charges of Rs.2500. However, in order to confirm your admission, you may have already deposited INR 35,000 [INR 15,000/- for SC/ST/PwD students] to the Chairman, JEE (Advanced) 2019. You must pay the remaining amount of INR 99,000 [INR 19,000 for SC/ST/PwD/ students].
• In addition to the fees mentioned above, you must pay INR 19,000 towards mess and laundry advance. These fees must also be paid via one of the options mentioned above.

Vidyalaxmi Bank Educational Loan Scheme:

• Students whose annual family income is less than 9,00,000 shall have access to interest free educational loan under the Vidyalaxmi scheme for the total portion of the tuition fee payable.
• The Student Affairs office at IITGN also facilitates the educational loan process from a nationalised bank. Further, on the registration day, some of the banks also set-up their counters to facilitate on-spot approval of educational loan.

TATA Motors Ltd. Financial Aid Program (TML-FAP):

• The TMLFAP was introduced at IITGN in the year 2016 and is open to all the undergraduate students of IIT Gandhinagar. The main objective is to provide financial assistance to students from economically weak background.
• The beneficiary students are expected to donate the money back to IIT Gandhinagar after their graduation, once they are financially independent, as the money received back will be used to support other deserving future students. Students whose annual family income
  is not more than 6,50,000/- in non-metro cities and  7,50,000/- in metro cities are eligible to apply for this financial assistance program.

Free Basic Messing and Pocket Allowance:

• The Institute facilitates free basic messing and a nominal pocket allowance for SC/ST category
  students whose annual parental income is not more than  4,50,000/- (subject to submission of
