Dhirubhai Ambani Institute of Information and  Communication Technology is a privately owned educational Institution which is located in Gandhinagar,Gujarat and was established in the year 2001.Dhirubhai Ambani Institute of Information and Communication Technology is named after the  founder of Reliance Group late Dhirubhai Ambani.

DA-IICT is deemed to be a university under the Act No.6 2003 of the Gujarat Legislature and on 30th November 2004 DA-IICT found its place in the list of universities maintained by the University Grants Commission Under the UGC Act of 1956. DA-IICT was accredited ‘A’ Grade from National Assessment and Accreditation Council,Government of India on 2007.

Dhirubhai Ambani Institute of Information and Communication Technology become a member of the Association of Indian Universities in the year2009 on the 14th of November. • The men’s hall has 8 wings labeled from A to H each wing consists of about 60 rooms.
• The total capacity of the 8 wings for men can accommodate about 900 students on twin sharing basis.
• The women’s hall has 2 wings and labeled as the J and K wings with a total occupancy of 195.
• The women’s wing has a guest room for mothers’ of resident students.
• The rooms are furnished with a bed, table, chair and a cupboard for each occupant.

• TV Rooms with Dish TV are available at both halls of residence for students recreation.
