IIM Jammu PhD is a full-time three-year, doctoral program created to meet working professionals' academic and research needs. The course is extendable upto 6 years. The course is available in eight specializations and subjects students can choose and study for their doctorate.

IIM Jammu PhD Eligibility Criteria

IIM Jammu PhD eligibility criteria include a Master’s Degree with at least 60% marks. Students with a professional qualification duly recognized by UGC/AICTE/AIU equivalent to a Master's degree (like CA, CMA, CS) with at least 50% marks or equivalent grade point average can also apply for admission. Similarly, students who have completed their B.Tech/B.E./B. Arch. etc., with a CGPA of 6.5, are also eligible for application.

IIM Jammu admission to the PhD course is accepted through CAT/ GMAT/ GRE/ GATE/ NET-JRF (UGC/CSIR) or IIMJ RAT. A personal interview follows the submission of the application.

Entrance Exams

For admission to IIM Jammu PhD, students must appear for the GMAT/GRE/CAT/GATE/NET-JRF (UGC/CSIR) or IIMJ RAT + PI and are accepted with these mentioned entrance exams. Candidates who do not have test scores for CAT, GMAT, GRE, GATE, JRF-UGC, or CSIR must take the IIMJ-Research Admission Test (IIMJ-RAT). The test will have quantitative, reasoning, English comprehension, research, and teaching aptitude questions. On the website, there will be practice questions.

The following documents are required for the application for the IIM Jammu PhD:

• Self-attested copies of Class 10th, 12th, graduate, and post-graduate diplomas.
• Result of GMAT/GRE/CAT/GATE/NET-JRF (UGC/CSIR) or IIMJ RAT results
• Valid photo ID proof like Aadhaar.
• Certificate of percentage conversion from a college or university (in the case of a CGPA or CPA).

IIM Jammu PhD Fees 

IIM Jammu PhD course is a 4-year doctoral program offered to students. This course is offered in various specializations too. However, there is no tuition fee for PhD courses. IIM Jammu provides a stipend of INR 30,000 to all doctoral candidates. This amount, however, increases to INR 35,000 per month depending on their academic performance.
