NEET 2020 Cut Off of J&K will be published only in online mode for candidates whose names are included in the seat allocation list. J and K MBBS admission 2020, will be conceded only based on scores acquired in NEET. Along these lines, students need to score the least qualifying marks in NEET 2020. Central Computer Cell:

GMC has a Central Computer Cell in the administrative Block of Principal for the Administration, Accounts, and Student section. While the work of the college has computerized. Central Library of GMC, Jammu has four Under-graduates and two Postgraduate, and one staff common reading. One Journal section, one reference section, one teacher's section, and a reading hall with a seating capacity of one hundred is available in the library. GMC is subscribed to more than 329 Indian and Foreign journals for the research work. The library is equipped with internet facilities for research work. Photocopy facilities are also available in the library section. A web zone [nternet] facilities have been introduced recently for the faculty members and the PG students.

Sports and Games:

The Institute has upheld the healthy tradition of maintaining the intellectual as well as the physical fitness of the Students. The facilities for indoor as well as outdoor games like table tennis, badminton, cricket; lawn tennis, football, and others have been consistently available to the enthusiasts. The sports section also organizes friendly matches to keep a sportive atmosphere on the campus.

Examination and Lecture Hall:

One Examination Hall with 200 sitting capacity & Thirteen Lecturer Theatre is available in this GMC.

Photographic-cum-Audiovisual Unit and Medical Education Unit:

A designed Photographic-cum-Audiovisual unit has set up in the college for learning and for working on programs to disseminate information. These units have fully equipped with the latest equipment and accessories.

Research Facilities:

The research at this Institute is the establishment of the Department of Experimental Medicine which helps various clinical departments to have in-depth research at the level of molecular biology and basic sciences to correlate with the various clinical problems like hypertension, coronary artery disease, rheumatic heart diseases, mal-absorption, and others. The research output has been incredible and has found recognition at various national and international forums. Several faculty members have been honored at the national level by the awards. Every year more than 300 research articles are published in National and International journals.

The admission in Government Medical College, Jammu is based entirely on the merit obtained by the candidates in the Entrance Examination, conducted annually by the Board of Professional Entrance Examination [BOPEE] of the state of Jammu and Kashmir for postgraduate courses.

Jammu Medical college provides accommodation facilities to its students. Government Medical College infrastructure facilitates its students. The college has the facility of separate hostels for Under-graduates and Post-graduates. Three blocks with three seating for Post-graduates and Under-gradates are available for boys and three seating and two blocks for girls. Total rooms are 549. All the hostels are situated with the college complex at a distance varying from 200-500 meters from different hospitals.
