IIIT Pune Campus: Infrastructure, Hostel & Other Facilities

IIIT Pune campus is currently operating from its transit campus located at Sadumbre, Tal. Maval, Pune. The IIIT-P institute will move onto to its own campus, spread over 100 acres located at Nanoli Tarf Chakan. The following facilities are offered by the IIIT Pune campus.

Library Facilities:

• The library has more than 3200 books with 403 titles
• The library has a membership to the World e-book library and South Asian Achieve
• The library has been automated with I SLIM software
• It also provides services like book search, reservation, renewal, and account checking details

Campus Facilities:

• Networked computing environment with Linux and Windows
• FPGA development boards, Analog interface device
• High-grade front-end back-end design
• It houses 20 Desktop PCs with a dedicated server

Clubs:

• There are various student clubs at IIIT Pune that help students to relax and recharge.
• The indoor sports facilities include seven billiards & snooker tables, carrom boards, chess boards, table tennis, and a foosball table.
• Additional sections are dedicated to stargazing, philately and numismatics, and robotics in the hobbies club.
• Reading areas with various newspapers and light publications are also available in the clubs. Each club has a TV room with seating for around a hundred people.

Security:

• The IIIT Pune campus is well-protected and enclosed by boundary walls. Security guards are stationed at each entrance gate, inspecting all cars entering the site.
• In addition, a number of security booths maintain a close eye on the campus. Security complaints should be filed with the security office.
