GSSS Institute of Engineering and Technology for Women Admission 2025: Check Entrance Exams, Courses Offered, Admission Details

Entrance Exams & Admissions : Eligibility criteria is 10+2 in science stream. We can apply through Karnataka CET ,COMEDK. If we go through KCET cutoffs would be like 18000 for ECE( during our batch) now it is still reduced. It might be around 15000.

Placements & Internships :

Placements & Internships : They won't provide any internship but students are encouraged to go out and do their internship in any of top companies. We are getting core companies for placements, to mention few. It would be like ABB, Procsys, Smartsoc, Accord, etc. For EC the maximum package would be INR 5-6 LPA but for CS it may go up to INR 10 LPA.

Fees & Scholarships : The course fee is INR 53000/- inclusive of tuition fees and curriculum. Scholarship options are given by KCET, there is SNQ quota. Only 3-4 people from one branch get the scholarship.

Academics & Faculty : Our daily College timings are 9 am to 4.30 pm. Teaching is good and even practical labs are good, they provide few workshops which enhance our practical knowledge about the subjects. Any kind of projects are supported but they see for that the project or the idea is not repeated and encourage for new ideas. Full support by faculty is provided for implementing the ideas.

College Infrastructure & Hostel Facilities : As it is a girls college they have 3 buildings for girls hostel. They charge INR 46k(don't know the amount properly as I am a locality). There is a canteen and a CCD, food quality is good but varieties are not provided. Quality of classroom out of 5 would be 4.8( since library needs to be updated and WiFi provision is still in the process)

Clubs & Associations : Alumni association is available and according to the branch there are association. For ECE ASECE is there. Every even semester, Geetayana is celebrated as the annual fest. College life, in general, is Good.
