Vivekanand Career Margdarshan Yojna :- The “Vivekanand Career Margdarshan Yojna” was introduced by Higher Education on 07th February ‘2006 with the aim to create awareness amongst the students regarding career prospects as per their Educational Qualification, interests & capabilities. To implement the same the college has established a “Vivekanand Career Margdarshan Cell” by constituting a committee comprising of 4 – 5 regular faculty members. The Directorate of Higher Education provides financial assistance for organizing various activities & monitors the progress. The Functions of “Vivekanand Career Margdarshan Cell To Establish Library having reading material like news papers, magazines & books related to career options. To implement the calendar for Organizing lectures for different subjects/ areas. Motivational lectures. Moral education Environmental awareness Special workshops on personality development Skill oriented workshops “Vivekanand Career Counselling Cell” helps the students in choosing proper career and to provide information regarding the recent trends and developments This cell organizes seminars, workshops, Rojgaronmukhi Training, visit to Career fare and Campus Drive.

Campus The College campus spans an area of 11 acres of land, situated in the heart of Jabalpur city, by the chief minister of MP. The college building is a beautiful pieces of architectural work hoting various modern facilities. Infrastructure The Government M.H. College of Home Science and Science for Women was started in 1954. Since then, the college has developed into a big Educational Institute of Jabalpur. Spread over 10.5 acres of land, it is one of the biggest colleges of M P . Building is designed very artistically, is well ventilated and spacious. The five gardens are the best hangouts for the students in their free time. The College has big playgrounds and courts for Basket-ball, Volley-ball etc. The Classrooms are equipped with close circuit cameras, thus permitting close monitoring of teaching, examinations and other activities in various rooms simultaneously by the Principal.
