Hawabagh Women’s College, Jabalpur was established in 1928. The College is a pioneer institute for the higher education of women in India. The college is affiliated to Rani Durgawati Vishwavidyalaya (R.D.V.V.) Jabalpur. The College is not only known for its high academic achievements but has groomed its students for an all round personality development. Hawabagh Women’s College is one of the oldest institute in India, established by the women’s division of missionaries (America) with an objective of ensuring up-liftment of women.

The college which is a Christian institution of higher education in Madhya Pradesh has risen to its present status through steady progress with blessings and cooperation of the Methodist church leader and well wishers in and out of the country and able guidance of its principals. It is proudly mentioned here that the students of this College are placed all over the country serving the society as doctors, nurses, lawyers, teachers, scientists, TV or radio announcers and officers in  religious and secular organizations.
