Government Law College, [GLCTVL] Tirunelveli was founded in 1996 to comply with the Tamil Nadu Southernmost Region requirements. GLCTVL operates in a 15-acre area adjacent to the buildings of the District Court on the Tiruchendur-Tuticorin high road.

The institute offers both five year and three-year Undergraduate courses and Post Graduate courses in Constitutional Law and Human Rights. GLCTVL courses are designed to provide students with high-quality law education to help the government maintain the country's integrity.
