St.Xavier's College Overview

St Xavier's College is one of the oldest institutions in India Jesuit Fathers of the Jesuit Madhurai Province in the year 1923 at Palayamkottai. The institution is recognised by the UGC Act under section 2(f) and 12(B), and it is a 'grant-in-aid institution'. In 2019 NAAC accredited 'A++' grade with 3.66 CGPA and also it ranks 74 out of 1304 by NIRF.

The institution offers various courses and specialization from undergraduate, postgraduate, M.Phil and PhD. It uses the 'Choice Based Credit System' with a variety of choices to the students. The campus is filled with numerous facilities which is built-in a total area of 58 acres of land.
